Ben Keeton is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Kentucky BioAlliance, an advocacy organization focused on Kentucky's biotech sector. Ben also serves as the Publisher of Medical News, a monthly publication focused on the business of healthcare in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, and Medical News for You, a monthly publication providing information to local healthcare consumers.

Prior to his roles with the Kentucky BioAlliance and Medical News., Ben spent two years with Humana in the Atlanta Market Office. At Humana, Ben was responsible for developing relationships among insurance agents and promoting Humana within the Atlanta community. He dramatically increased the number of active agents selling Humana insurance and helped increase awareness of the company through the Atlanta Benefits program.

Ben's work in Economic Development began with the Health Enterprises Network, where he served for two years as the Business Development Manager. Each year, Ben grew the number of Network member, increased annual revenue, and developed programs to diversify the income stream.

Outside of work, Ben is active in the community. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Healthcare Fellows Board and the Board of Directors for the Association for Corporate Growth. Ben also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Louisville Venture Club and as an advisor to the Community Health Charities organization.
